Our goal is to host 2 fundraisers a month. Some months we may have capacity to do more, so please don't hesitate to ask about the month you are looking for.

It all began in 2014, in our driveway in Walton, KY. Many years of research and failed attempts have allowed us to really perfect the art of Central Texas BBQ. From the wood mixes to cook times, it has been a labor of love. We started with a small offset smoker and grew to Independence (our custom pit), which can smoke meat for up to 600 people daily. Finally in 2016, Sunset Ridge BBQ LLC was born.
Shortly after moving to Tecumseh, Michigan in 2017, we decided it was time to go all in. In 2019 BBQ Mike had the opportunity to focus solely on BBQ and has been crafting his small batch all wood BBQ for Southeast Michigan.
We have been overwhelmed by the support and love we've received since arriving in Michigan. 2020 delayed this launch a little, but we never gave up the vision of creating an opportunity to support our community the way they have supported us.
